Omega Pacific Starts Drill Program At Williams Property
Omega Pacific Resources Ltd. has commenced its 2026 drill program at the Williams Property, an 11,490-hectare land package in British Columbia's Toodoggone District that includes over 11,000 metres of historical drilling.
Drilling got underway on September 14, 2026, following the completion of drill pads at the West GIC target. The multi-phase effort spans 5,000 metres in total, with an initial phase of 1,000 to 2,000 metres designed to test up-dip, down-dip, and along-strike extensions of gold mineralization encountered during the company's 2024 campaign. That earlier program returned notable intercepts including 1.69 g/t gold over 104 metres in hole WM24-01.

The current campaign aims to connect drilled gold mineralization to the Park Gossan and test lateral continuity toward historical hole WM22-03, located 600 metres east of previous 2024 drilling. In addition to diamond drilling, Omega Pacific has planned drone LiDAR and magnetic surveys across the GIC West and ROI targets.
“Our 2026 drill program at the West GIC gold target is designed to achieve two key objectives. Firstly, to deliver results similar to our 2024 program. Secondly, to confirm the potential for West GIC to host a multimillion-ounce gold deposit,” said Jason Leikam, CEO of Omega Pacific. He added, “We are entering an exciting juncture in the advancement of this project. West GIC gold mineralization is open in all directions. This initial program will seek to extend known mineralization and set up for an expanded Phase 2 drill program.”

The initial phase of drilling is anticipated to be completed by mid-October 2026, with assay results to be released as they are received and interpreted. Elsewhere in the Toodoggone District, Finlay Minerals expanded its 2026 drill program at the nearby PIL Property by 1,600 metres to a total of 4,400 metres in August 2026.
