ONGold Reports Grab Assays Up to 144.68 g/t Au and Sidewinder Discovery at TPK Project

ONGold Resources Ltd. has reported high-grade gold and base-metal assay results from its 2026 Phase 1 field exploration program at the TPK project in northern Ontario. The program comprised helicopter-supported geological mapping, prospecting, orientation soil sampling, and ground geophysical surveying across the district-scale property.
Work across the project area returned multiple notable grab samples, led by two float boulders at Gold Ridge grading 144.68 g/t gold and 28.48 g/t gold, with the latter sample also returning more than 100 ppm silver. Field crews also defined the new Sidewinder Zone at Gold Ridge, identifying a 70-metre-long gold-bearing quartz-vein shear zone that returned grab assays up to 10.69 g/t gold with anomalous copper. Sidewinder remains untested by drilling.
A ground electromagnetic and gravity geophysical survey over the Discovery West area identified a new electromagnetic target roughly 250 metres north of previous mineralisation intersected in drill hole GR-25-012. Furthermore, historical trench sampling at Rowlandson Lake returned gold and copper assays up to 17.96 g/t gold and 1,910 ppm copper.
While seasonal field work advanced successfully, wildfires in northwestern Ontario required ONGold to reschedule its planned summer diamond drilling program to the fall. The company holds a 100% interest in the TPK project following a spin-out transaction that closed in May 2024.
In parallel with field operations, ONGold entered into an updated collaboration agreement with the Nibinamik First Nation governing 2026 exploration activities. The revised agreement includes the proposed issuance of common shares to the community, subject to approval from the TSX Venture Exchange.
Regionally, exploration activity continues to draw attention to northern Ontario, where Critical One Energy Inc. reported drill results at the Howells Lake project within the surrounding district.
“The TPK Project continues to yield a compelling geological story in terms of high-grade gold and the presence of base-metal mineralization. Completion of the Phase 1 exploration program has positioned ONGold for further drilling this fall. Expanding our geological understanding of high-grade gold mineralization at the Discovery Zone will be a key focus, together with drilling other high-grade gold and base-metal targets identified across the TPK Project.”
