Onyx Gold Corp. has consolidated complete surface and mineral control surrounding the Argus Gold System at its Munro-Croesus Project, eliminating historical land fragmentation across the southwestern portion of the property.

The transactions involve four separate all-cash acquisitions from arm's-length vendors alongside the accelerated exercise of an option over a 21-hectare patented claim partially hosting the Argus North discovery. Onyx secured 100% ownership of that claim by paying C$1.35 million in cash and issuing 2,475,000 common shares ahead of schedule.

The newly acquired surface rights give the company full control along a historical access trail extending from Highway 101, which lies approximately 2.7 kilometres away. This establishes a second, shorter access route to the discovery site to complement existing year-round road access.

“We are advancing Argus on several fronts at once, through drilling, surface exploration, land consolidation and secured access,” stated Brock Colterjohn, President & CEO. “Drilling remains the primary driver of discovery, but the surface work is becoming increasingly important as we refine the geological model and expand our understanding of the system.”

“We have also continued to remove the remaining land and access constraints around the discovery. As Argus grows, that gives us more flexibility to explore it efficiently today and to plan for what the project may require in the future.”

The 100%-owned Munro-Croesus Project includes the past-producing Croesus Gold Mine, which yielded high-grade gold. Within the property, the Argus Gold System has demonstrated gold mineralization across approximately 1.4 kilometres of strike and more than 700 metres vertically, remaining open in multiple directions.

Exploration crews continue to execute a fully funded 110,000-metre drill program using four diamond drill rigs. Approximately 90,000 metres have been completed across 236 holes to date, leaving about 20,000 metres remaining to be drilled.
