Opus One Raises C$502,000 from Warrant Exercises for Exploration Pipeline
Opus One Gold Corporation has received gross proceeds of C$502,000 from the exercise of 10,050,000 warrants at $0.05 per share before their August 9, 2026 expiry date. Two company directors participated in the exercise, accounting for 2,500,000 of the total warrants converted.
The warrants were originally issued as part of a private placement completed in August 2024. The capital injection strengthens the company's treasury as it maintains exploration and development efforts across its mineral assets in the Val-d'Or and Matagami mineral districts within the Abitibi Greenstone Belt of north-western Quebec and north-eastern Ontario.
“Opus One would like to thank its good supporters for their continued support, allowing the Company to grow by keeping at generating very good results through its exploration and development efforts.”
— Louis Morin, Chief Executive Officer & Director
Activity across the surrounding regional district has continued to generate exploration milestones, highlighted by Maple Gold Mines reporting drill results in August 2026 that extended the Joutel gold system with 8.6 g/t gold over 4.2 metres at its Joutel gold project.
