Ore Resources Ltd has intersected wide lithium intervals beyond its current resource boundaries at the Coolgardie Lithium Projects in Western Australia, returning 15 metres at 1.14% lithium oxide from 68 metres at the Potoroo prospect.

The 3,300-metre reverse circulation drilling programme, completed across July and August 2026, comprised 26 holes targeting the 100%-owned Kangaroo Hills and Miriam projects in the Eastern Goldfields. Drilling at the Big Red and Potoroo systems successfully extended mineralisation beyond current Mineral Resource Estimate boundaries, with both pegmatites remaining open to the north and west.

Significant assay results included hole KHRC219 at Potoroo returning 15 metres at 1.14% lithium oxide from 68 metres, including a six-metre section at 1.60% lithium oxide. At Big Red, hole KHRC225 intersected 15 metres at 1.00% lithium oxide from 142 metres, including 3 metres at 1.82% lithium oxide, while hole KHRC224 returned 10 metres at 1.04% lithium oxide from 155 metres within a broader 18-metre zone grading 0.83% lithium oxide.

Regional exploration testing at the Big Red West prospect intersected a 44-metre-thick pegmatite system in hole KHRC227, which returned 2 metres at 1.12% lithium oxide from 67 metres and 1 metre at 1.48% lithium oxide from 89 metres. Initial drilling at the Miriam project tested one of thirteen identified outcropping pegmatite targets, intersecting zones up to two metres wide without returning significant lithium grades.

“Drilling has continued to reinforce the quality, scale and continuity of the Big Red and Potoroo pegmatite systems, which importantly remain open to the north and west. Beyond the resource area, regional exploration also delivered encouraging first-pass results, with drilling at Big Red West intersecting a 44m-thick pegmatite system. These results also suggest the system remains open and may be thickening towards the east, providing further evidence of lithium prospectivity within the broader project area.”

The Kangaroo Hills Lithium Project is the subject of a recent Direct Shipping Ore scoping study outlining a 16-month mine life and A$24.9 million in upfront capital costs. Ore Resources is targeting a Final Investment Decision for the project in mid-2027, subject to receiving requisite approvals and finalizing project funding. To support development, the company is advancing discussions with potential strategic and commercial offtake partners to secure a non-dilutive prepayment funding solution.
