Oreterra has started a 5,000-metre drill program at the Trek South copper-gold prospect in British Columbia’s Golden Triangle. The campaign marks the first time the prospect has been drilled, targeting geophysical anomalies revealed by recent glacial retreat.

The initial phase includes eight angled core holes spaced 150 metres apart along two fences. The first hole, TS26-01, is currently targeting induced polarization (IP) chargeability, magnetic, and magnetotelluric anomalies at a depth of 600 metres. A second drill rig is expected to join the program in approximately one week.

Exploration teams are also active on nearby prospects within the property. An IP survey is scheduled for the Tundra Zone this month to evaluate its potential for future drilling, with a similar survey planned for the Toe Zone. The company also expects to report assay results for recent sampling conducted at the Toe Zone.
