Orezone Reports Record Q2 Gold Production of 58,566 Ounces
Orezone Gold Corporation reported record quarterly gold production of 58,566 ounces for the second quarter of 2026, marking its first full period operating as a two-mine producer following the March 25 acquisition of the Casa Berardi mine in Quebec.
The expanded portfolio generated record revenue of $271.6 million and adjusted EBITDA of $134.5 million during the quarter. Gold sales totaled 60,654 ounces at an average realized price of $4,401 per ounce, while all-in sustaining costs reached $2,449 per ounce sold. Operating cash flow for the period came in at $109.3 million, leaving Orezone with $96.7 million in cash and 5,354 ounces of bullion on hand valued at $21.2 million at June 30, 2026.
At the Bomboré mine in Burkina Faso, gold output increased by 38% to 38,063 ounces compared to 27,548 ounces in the second quarter of 2025. The production growth was driven by a 59% increase in plant throughput following the startup of the new hard rock plant. Engineering and procurement for the Stage 2A hard rock expansion at Bomboré are substantially complete, with construction targeting completion in the third quarter and commissioning scheduled for October 2026.
The Casa Berardi operation contributed 20,503 ounces of gold during its first full quarter in the company's portfolio, processing 364,284 tonnes at an average head grade of 2.01 grams per tonne. The historical underground asset has produced over 3.2 million ounces of gold to date. Orezone has re-initiated exploration drilling at the property to rebuild its high-grade stope inventory and plans to release a comprehensive life-of-mine study for Casa Berardi in September 2026.
“The second quarter marked an important milestone for Orezone with our first full quarter as a two-mine gold producer following the acquisition of Casa Berardi. Both operations performed in line with expectations, delivering strong financial results and robust cash flow. At Bomboré, we continued advancing the Stage 2A hard rock expansion, while at Casa Berardi, we continued laying the foundation for long-term value through operational improvements, underground development, and exploration.”

In addition to the upcoming Casa Berardi study, Orezone has commenced work on a preliminary economic assessment for its Heva-Hosco development project.
