Origen Resources Inc. has appointed Mark Riccio as a strategic advisor to support the advancement of its rare earth element portfolio.

Riccio brings 25 years of experience across global financial markets, including senior roles with Macquarie Group, Denham Capital and Merrill Lynch, alongside direct experience in Brazil's rare earth sector as a former asset manager and board member of Serra Verde. He is also the CEO and founder of commodities tokenization platform Commoditize and co-founded Nova Royalty Corp.

Origen entered the Brazilian rare earth sector in October 2025 through an agreement to acquire concessions in Piauí State, later expanding its land position to over 76,000 hectares across Bahia and Piauí states. The company also scheduled an airborne radiometric survey over its properties in the region.
