Orogen Royalties Inc. has added the Serpent gold project in central Nevada to its portfolio through the acquisition of 225 Bureau of Land Management claims covering approximately 18.8 square kilometres.

Generated in partnership with Altius Minerals Corporation, the district-scale, low-sulphidation epithermal target is situated 25 kilometres northwest of Rachel. The property features an eight-kilometre trend of kaolinite and illite alteration hosted within Oligocene-aged ignimbrite tuffs.

Reconnaissance rock sampling within the northeast-striking Cobra structural corridor returned gold values up to 0.95 grams per tonne from a boiling zone marked by fine-grained saccharoidal silica and platy quartz after calcite. An additional perpendicular structural trend yielded gold values up to 0.52 grams per tonne, while preliminary sampling at the Ant Hill Zone three kilometres to the south returned grades up to 0.4 grams per tonne gold alongside anomalous silver, arsenic, antimony and mercury.

Mapping has also identified adularia and strong silicification across multiple northern structures, including the 450-metre-long Medusa structure. Assay results from these northern zones are pending. The property has no evidence of historical drilling, roads or prospect pits within the primary Cobra corridor.

“The Serpent epithermal project contains multiple gold-bearing mineralized structures across an alteration footprint with the size to host a district scale epithermal system comparable to the nearby Round Mountain or Arthur Gold projects.” said Laurence Pryer, VP Exploration of Orogen. “To discover highly anomalous gold in the preserved upper levels of an undrilled epithermal system in a highly prospective host rock and structural setting validates the work Orogen continue to do with Altius Minerals. We look forward to showcasing this project at Orogen's upcoming Project Generator Day on September 16 th .”

In the surrounding district, Pure Energy Minerals entered into a letter of intent in August 2026 to acquire a 100% interest in the Railroad Valley Property, securing 213 unpatented mineral claims. Orogen's Serpent project is currently available for option or sale, and the company will present the asset during its third annual Project Generator Day on September 16, 2026.
