Orogen Royalties Inc. has formed a generative exploration alliance with a subsidiary of Aurum Discovery to target gold and silver across prospective mineral belts in Norway.

Under the two-year arrangement, Orogen will fund a €500,000 budget covering targeting, field evaluation, and project acquisition up to the designated project stage. Aurum Discovery will contribute geological data and in-country expertise. All ongoing costs, expenses, proceeds, revenues, and royalties generated from designated projects will be shared equally between the two parties.

Exploration during the first year will focus on the Pasvik and Mjøsa-Vänern regions, with plans to conduct infill soil and till geochemistry and systematic prospecting under the alliance budget. The Pasvik project covers 160 square kilometres within the underexplored Pasvik greenstone belt in northern Norway, where historical work identified gold-bearing float samples and narrow drill intercepts. The Mjøsa-Vänern gold belt sits within a 40-kilometre-wide mylonite zone across southern Norway and Sweden that remains largely untested on the Norwegian side.

The alliance broadens the company’s prospect-generation model outside its traditional operating footprint. Orogen previously established a multi-year generative exploration alliance focused on base metals in western North America with a subsidiary of South32 Limited in September 2025.
