Orosur Mining Inc. has intersected continuous gold mineralisation from surface in the first diamond drill hole at the El Cedro prospect within its Anzá project in Colombia.

Partial assay results from hole CED001 returned 61.35 metres at 0.93 grams per tonne gold from surface, including a higher-grade interval of 42.15 metres at 1.02 grams per tonne gold starting from 19 metres downhole. The initial phase of drilling at El Cedro commenced on August 26, 2026, targeting a porphyry and hydrothermal system located in the southern portion of the licence area.

The Anzá project is owned 100% by Orosur Mining through its subsidiaries Minera Anzá and Minera Monte Aguila. Following the acquisition of full control in November 2024, operational exploration has focused on three core prospects: Pepas, APTA, and El Cedro.

Hole CED001 successfully intersected the targeted vein system at approximately 99 metres downhole, revealing a wide zone of polymetallic veining containing quartz, carbonate, pyrrhotite, pyrite, galena, sphalerite, and chalcopyrite within a broader alteration halo. While the upper assayed section returned anomalous copper, levels were deemed below economic significance. Further assay results from downhole intervals between 61.3 and 86 metres remain pending, with additional samples from the deeper vein zone expected to be submitted to the laboratory later in the week.

“Real grassroots discoveries have become very rare in modern times - and we possibly have two……so far. This is testament to the geological potential of the Anza Project and Colombia as an exploration destination, but mostly to the talent and dedication of the local team.”

— Brad George, CEO

Drilling at CED001 is currently at a depth of 130 metres and is planned to extend to 500 metres, with completion expected by the end of September 2026. Once the hole is finished, the rig is planned to drill two additional holes in different directions from the same pad.
