Orosur Mining Commences First-Ever Drilling At El Cedro Porphyry Target

Orosur Mining Inc. has commenced its first-ever drilling campaign at the El Cedro prospect, marking a key operational expansion across its Anza gold project in Colombia.
The El Cedro prospect lies in the southern portion of the integrated licence area, roughly 4km south of the APTA base camp. The first diamond drill hole, CED001, immediately intersected a porphyry intrusion displaying stockwork veining, silicification and potassic alteration. The hole is planned to reach a depth of 500m over a five-week period.
Orosur owns 100% of the project through its wholly owned subsidiaries Minera Anzá and Minera Monte Aguila. Since acquiring full control, the company has focused its operational attention on three core prospects: Pepas, APTA and El Cedro. Active drilling is currently underway across all three targets, with three rigs deployed simultaneously across the property.
At the Pepas West prospect, situated approximately 100m west of the Pepas deposit, recent drilling has continued to define a surficial, oxidised zone of medium-grade mineralisation. Hole PEP106 returned 19.45m at 1.02 g/t gold from surface, including a 2.25m interval grading 3.11 g/t gold. Hole PEP107 intersected 7.6m at 0.47 g/t gold from surface, while deeper testing at APTA saw hole MAP108 intersect 78.95m at 0.38 g/t gold from 134.8m.
Because the flat, broad geometry of Pepas West is poorly suited to diamond drilling due to slow rig moves, the diamond rig has been relocated to other prospects. Geological teams are instead trialling an auger system to rapidly sample unconsolidated material down to 10m depth, with the trial designed to assess whether the methodology can advance Pepas West toward resource status.
Project landholdings have also increased following the submission of new licence applications covering 360 square kilometres. Combined with 170 square kilometres of granted titles, the total Anza project footprint now spans approximately 530 square kilometres. Several new applications were submitted for strategic reasons, including securing access along the Cauca River and main access road.
“The Anza project is now ramping up with three rigs running, one at each of Pepas, APTA and El Cedro and planned to remain for some time. More prospects are also being advanced to the drill stage, demonstrating the extraordinary potential of this licence holding.”

Regional exploration activity within the broader Mid-Cauca belt continues to yield broad high-grade intervals, with Collective Mining Ltd. reporting drill intercepts at its Guayabales project within the surrounding district.
