Orvana Minerals Corp. has produced its first gold-silver doré bar from the processing of stockpiled oxides at the Don Mario operation in southeastern Bolivia. The milestone was achieved by the company's Bolivian subsidiary, Empresa Minera Paitití S.A., through the ongoing ramp-up of the expanded processing facilities.

The current oxide production follows earlier operational trials involving legacy sulfide ore processed through the gold-silver circuit in March 2026. The Oxides Stockpile Project is designed to process oxide material accumulated during previous years of mining at the site.

The project encompasses a major plant expansion to enable future copper cathode production, alongside a comprehensive upgrade of the adsorption-desorption-recovery section of the legacy gold-silver circuit. To fully finance the capital expenditure required to complete the construction and plant expansion, EMIPA closed a US$25 million secured prepayment facility with Trafigura in November 2025.

“The first doré bar from EMIPA's oxides confirms that the metallurgical performance of the expanded Don Mario Plant is in line with design and engineering assumptions. We remain focused on safely increasing throughput, and optimizing plant performance as operations ramp up”

— Juan Gavidia, Chief Executive Officer of Orvana

Following the initial oxide pour, the operating team is directing its efforts toward the safe and disciplined ramp-up of the expanded plant. Key operational priorities include increasing processing throughput, optimizing metallurgical performance, and maintaining rigorous cost control as the circuits stabilize.

EMIPA is progressing toward full commercial production of both gold-silver doré and copper cathodes. Actual production output across fiscal 2026 will depend on the continued progress of ramp-up activities, ongoing plant performance, and the successful stabilization of all operating circuits.
