Osisko Gold Group Reports $837.3M Cash Balance and Cariboo Pre-Construction Progress
Osisko Gold Group Inc. reported approximately $837.3 million in cash and cash equivalents as of June 30, 2026, alongside $32.7 million in second-quarter revenues from small-scale mining operations at the Tintic Project.
The company is advancing its 100%-owned Cariboo Gold Project in central British Columbia, supported by a US$300.0 million convertible senior notes offering completed during the quarter. Pre-construction activities at Cariboo include upgrades to the Bonanza Ledge water treatment plant, with full operation expected in the third quarter of 2026.
Underground development at Cariboo reached approximately 2.7 kilometres, advancing from the Cow Portal into the Lowhee Zone and along the main access ramp into the Cow Mountain Zone. Development has reached the first access point into the Cow Mountain Zone, where a dedicated drill gallery is advancing to support resource conversion infill drilling expected to commence in the third quarter of 2026. Osisko Gold completed approximately 13,684 metres of underground infill drilling in the Lowhee Zone to satisfy project financing requirements, alongside 2,995 metres of infill and near-mine exploration drilling.
At the Tintic Project in Utah, second-quarter operations generated $32.7 million in revenues, $12.0 million in cost of sales, and $8.1 million in operating income from the sale of 5,547 ounces of gold. Sales included direct shipping of 4,879 tonnes at an average grade of 38.71 grams per tonne of gold with an 89.5% payability factor.
Subsequent to the quarter end, the company completed its corporate name change to Osisko Gold Group Inc. and entered into a three-year Support and Benefits Agreement with the District of Wells, contemplating voluntary financial contributions of up to $3.0 million.
