Osisko Gold Intersects 95.93 g/t Gold at Proserpine Target
Osisko Gold has returned high-grade assays from its initial surface exploration drilling at the Proserpine target, located 7 kilometres from the company's Cariboo Gold Project in central British Columbia.
The results, derived from 6,463 metres of drilling across 14 diamond drill holes, confirmed the presence of a mineralized system containing high-grade structures as well as broader zones of lower-grade mineralization. The company noted that the system's characteristics suggest potential for both underground and open-pit mining methods.
Key drill intercepts include:
- 95.93 g/t gold over 4.60 metres at 71 metres vertical depth, including a 0.50-metre interval grading 873.00 g/t gold.
- 5.46 g/t gold over 8.60 metres at 77 metres vertical depth.
- 2.17 g/t gold over 14.45 metres at 431 metres vertical depth.
Drilling conducted between February and May 2026 tested an area measuring approximately 1.0 kilometre by 0.5 kilometres. The company reported that mineralization remains open in all directions and that all holes reaching their intended targets encountered mineralized material. The exploration team also identified the presence of a siliceous sandstone unit, which it currently views as a favourable host rock for gold.

Following a planned seasonal hiatus, Osisko Gold has resumed site activity with three active drill rigs. The team is now moving forward with an additional 26,500-metre follow-up drilling program intended to expand the currently defined footprint and increase drillhole density at the Proserpine Southeast area, alongside first-pass drilling at Proserpine Northwest.
