Osisko Metals Incorporated has reported new drill results from the Gaspé Copper Project in the Gaspé Peninsula of Eastern Québec, returning 35 mineralized intercepts from 15 new holes designed to upgrade resources and test lateral and depth extensions.

The standout result came from vertical infill drill hole 30-1223, which intersected 312.5 metres averaging 0.56% copper and 4.89 g/t silver from surface near the southern margin of the 2026 mineral resource estimate model. That intercept included higher-grade intervals of 36.0 metres averaging 1.88% copper and 13.3 g/t silver at the B Zone skarns, and 10.5 metres averaging 2.66% copper and 23.5 g/t silver at the C Zone skarns.

Other notable results include drill hole 30-1218, which returned 117.9 metres averaging 0.49% copper and 4.95 g/t silver as in-pit expansion, including a 9.0-metre interval grading 2.73% copper and 26.8 g/t silver. Out-of-pit expansion drilling also delivered positive intercepts, including 57.0 metres averaging 0.63% copper and 5.37 g/t silver in drill hole 30-1213—which included a 6.2-metre zone grading 3.18% copper and 23.4 g/t silver—and 79.0 metres averaging 0.43% copper in drill hole 30-1215.

“This new round of drilling continues to expand the known deposit, improve grade to the south, and convert waste rock to the southwest within the 2026 MRE Whittle pit volume to mineralized material. Drill holes 30-1218 and 30-1223 in particular added higher-grade material within and below the current pit volume. We are also seeing good intercepts of mineralization outside the 2026 MRE resource model and pit limits, particularly in hole 30-1215, which is located on the eastern margin of the Needle Mountain pit.”

Osisko Metals acquired a 100% interest in the past-producing Gaspé Copper mine from Glencore Canada Corporation in July 2023. The project hosts the largest undeveloped copper resource in eastern North America, supported by pit-constrained Measured and Indicated Mineral Resources of 1.83 billion tonnes averaging 0.32% CuEq alongside Inferred Mineral Resources of 239 million tonnes averaging 0.46% CuEq.

The current drill campaign is focused on converting Inferred resources into the Measured and Indicated categories while testing lateral and depth expansion toward Needle East and Needle Mountain. Looking ahead, the company plans to release a maiden Inferred Mineral Resource Estimate for the Porphyry Mountain deposit by the end of 2026.
