P2 Gold Hits 95.6% Gold Recovery in Car Body Zone Column Tests at Gabbs
P2 Gold Inc. has intersected 0.76 g/t gold over 39.62 meters in drilling and reported 95.6% average gold recoveries from oxide column leach tests at the Car Body Zone, part of its gold-copper Gabbs Project in Nevada.

Three diamond drill holes supplied samples for the feasibility study metallurgical test program. Three oxide mineralization columns, each holding roughly 31.5 kilograms at a nominal particle size of 6.1 millimeters, underwent column leach testing. Average gold recovery reached 78.3% at 7 days, 92.7% at 39 days, and 95.6% at 73 days.
Drill hole GBD-011 intersected 0.76 g/t gold over 39.62 meters from a downhole depth of 9.14 meters, including 13.72 meters grading 1.62 g/t gold. Hole GBD-014 intersected 0.78 g/t gold over 28.19 meters from 5.33 meters, including 4.57 meters grading 3.08 g/t gold.
Because the Car Body Zone lacks material copper mineralization and shows positive leach kinetics, P2 plans to use contract mining, contract crushing, and a leased portable carbon-in-column plant. This setup aims to stack and irrigate mineralization as soon as sufficient liner is in place, potentially generating cash flow during the project construction phase roughly six months after construction starts.
P2 Gold has systematically advanced the Gabbs Project through drilling campaigns since acquiring the asset on Nevada's Walker Lane Trend.
"Our plans to advance our gold-copper Gabbs Project to production have been progressing well to date on several fronts," commented Joe Ovsenek, President & CEO of P2. "With an expanding project profile and solid economics, the Gabbs Project is on track to become one of Nevada's most exciting near-term gold-copper producers."
The company expects to release an updated Mineral Resource estimate in the fourth quarter of 2026. That estimate will form the basis of a feasibility study scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2027, with permitting baseline studies supporting the Mining Plan of Operations proceeding on schedule.
