Pacific Resources Limited has returned a new high-grade copper intercept of 1.5 metres at 0.79% copper from 79.6 metres downhole, including 0.9 metres at 1.10% copper, from diamond drill hole DGWDDH005 at the Dogwood project in eastern Victoria.

The result marks the highest copper grade reported at Dogwood to date, sitting approximately 36% above the previous best intercept recorded in the 2022 diamond drilling program. Hole DGWDDH005 also intersected a second high-grade zone returning 0.2 metres at 0.78% copper with 9.4 g/t silver from 73.6 metres in a quartz-sulphide vein, alongside significant molybdenum peaking at 975 ppm.

A second drill hole, DGWDDH006, intersected 3.3 metres at 0.27% copper from 100.6 metres, including 0.7 metres at 0.67% copper. This hole was collared approximately 170 metres south of DGWDDH005 and 130 metres north of DGWDDH001, effectively infilling the intervening corridor. Laboratory multi-element analyses across the holes confirmed tungsten up to 40 ppm and bismuth up to 83 ppm, establishing the first polymetallic porphyry-related copper-molybdenum-tungsten-bismuth signature identified at the prospect.

Logging and sampling are currently ongoing for the remaining unassayed holes from the 2022 diamond program, covering holes DGWDDH007 through DGWDDH014. Pacific Resources is extending its program of re-logging, interval selection, and sampling across those holes as part of its ongoing evaluation of the property.

Following the receipt of remaining assay data, Pacific Resources intends to complete a full re-log and re-interpretation of the retained core, review geophysical and geochemical datasets to refine exploration vectors along the interpreted structural trend, and define a follow-up drilling program.
