Panoro Minerals Ltd. has signed a cooperation agreement with the Municipality of Cotabambas to advance local infrastructure and promote social development alongside the Cotabambas Copper-Gold-Silver Project in southern Peru’s Apurimac region, strengthening ties following similar agreements with past municipal administrations.

Led by the municipality, the initiatives will focus on upgrading local roads and access routes across the eight neighborhoods that comprise the municipality. The arrangement is designed to improve connectivity, infrastructure, and living conditions for local residents, drawing on the development vision of each neighborhood president. In the trading session following the announcement, Panoro's stock rose 5.73% to close at $1.66 on September 17, 2026.

The municipal accord adds to recent operational milestones at the project, where Panoro completed a surface access agreement with the Community of Guaclle to facilitate exploration work at Target #7. The Cotabambas deposit hosts Indicated Mineral Resources of 507.3 million tonnes grading 0.33% copper, 0.20 g/t gold, 2.42 g/t silver, and 0.0021% molybdenum, alongside Inferred Mineral Resources of 496.0 million tonnes grading 0.27% copper, 0.17 g/t gold, 2.53 g/t silver, and 0.0027% molybdenum. Within those resources, the deposit contains a higher-grade component of 129.0 million Indicated tonnes grading 0.70% copper, 0.44 g/t gold, and 4.12 g/t silver, and an estimated 93.1 million Inferred tonnes grading 0.59% copper, 0.41 g/t gold, and 5.31 g/t silver.
