Pantoro Gold (ASX: PNR) has confirmed the continuity of high-grade mineralisation at the Racetrack discovery within its Norseman project in Western Australia. The latest phase of infill drilling returned notable intercepts, including 4.94 metres at 349.14 g/t gold from 603.02 metres depth, which contained a high-grade interval of 0.91 metres at 1,737.37 g/t. Other significant results included 20.36 metres at 15.55 g/t gold.

The drilling has established the continuity of a high-grade zone extending over 350 metres in strike length, from near-surface to 600 metres depth. The zone remains open to the east and at depth.

"Racetrack is shaping up as a very high-grade structure with some of the widest intercepts we have seen at Norseman to date. Grades encountered are similar to those seen at the Bullen deposit, however early drilling suggests greater lode widths."

"Just 600 metres from the OK Decline, Racetrack can be developed with minimal additional infrastructure requirements and mined independently once dedicated ventilation circuits are established."

— Paul Cmrlec, Managing Director

The company is moving forward with plans to integrate the discovery into its operational pipeline. The FY2027 budget includes the development of an exploration drive from the upper levels of the OK Decline, and preliminary work for underground access is already underway.

Exploration remains a priority, with the company currently expanding its Phase 2 drill program. Further work will also focus on testing the Racetrack line of lode to the east towards the Mararoa Reef to explore prospective stratigraphy.
