Patagonia Lithium Ltd has commenced drilling Well 9 (JAM26-09) at the Formentera lithium brine project in Argentina's Jujuy province.

The well is positioned between existing wells 6 and 7 and represents the final drill hole required before the company issues a comprehensive updated Mineral Resource Estimate. At Well 8, crews have finished installing the PVC slotted liner, inserting gravel and cleaning the hole. A Borehole Magnetic Resonance Gamma porosity survey will begin shortly, followed by a 72-hour pump test to evaluate aquifer performance.

The company previously released an upgraded Mineral Resource Estimate of 551,400 tonnes of lithium carbonate equivalent for Formentera in July 2025. Patagonia Lithium will issue a comprehensive updated Mineral Resource Estimate following the completion of Well 9 at Formentera.

Drilling operations are targeting a final depth of 600 metres at the site.
