Patriot Resources Expands Tassa Project Landholding in Peru
Patriot Resources Limited has expanded its land position at the 100%-owned Tassa Silver-Gold Project in Peru through the staking of the Tassa 5 tenement. The acquisition increases the company’s total footprint at the site from 1,200 hectares to 1,800 hectares, extending its control along the mineralised corridor associated with the Tassa Fault.

By securing the new ground, Patriot has increased the interpreted strike length of the system from approximately 2.9 kilometres to 3.1 kilometres. The tenement directly adjoins the project’s existing maiden inferred mineral resource, which is currently estimated at 31.4 million ounces of silver equivalent.
“Tassa 5 gives us the final piece of available highly prospective land in the vicinity , directly adjoining our existing project- directly along the trend of a system that's already open in every direction. Our focus remains working with the Tassa and Pachamayo communities to progress a community agreement to support a Phase 1 drilling program”
— Dominic Duggan, CEO & Managing Director
The project is central to the company’s broader growth strategy, which is currently transitioning toward active exploration with a focus on silver and critical minerals. Patriot operates a diversified global portfolio that includes the Kitumba Copper Project in Zambia alongside its Peruvian assets.
While the company’s environmental impact declaration for the Tassa project remains valid, Patriot is currently expanding its engagement efforts to include the Pachamayo community, whose land overlaps with the newly acquired Tassa 5 tenement. The company intends to continue geological mapping and sampling across the expanded project area to refine targets for the upcoming drilling campaign, subject to reaching formal community agreements.
