Patronus Resources Limited has delineated a compelling new gold target at the Pine Creek Project in the Northern Territory, with in-fill surface sampling defining a coherent 1.5-kilometre-long anomaly at the J25 prospect.

The latest assay results complete the surface sampling programme across the core Pine Creek area. The sampling campaign has totalled over 5,000 samples across inaugural and follow-up phases, initially identifying broad-scale gold anomalism across areas including Northern Leases, Grove Hill, and Burnside SW.

At the J25 prospect on the Western Flank, in-fill sampling along the Western Shear Zone returned individual surface sampling results of up to 0.99g/t Au, alongside multiple strongly anomalous values including 0.57g/t, 0.22g/t, 0.21g/t and 0.20g/t Au. The structural corridor hosting the prospect has seen very little modern exploration.

In-fill sampling has also refined additional priority targets at Burnside SW, where work defined the Cardamom and Bay Leaf prospects along the altered margin of the Burnside Granite within the Koolpin Formation, alongside target definition work at Mt Margaret.

The company is advancing the Pine Creek Project as part of an active multi-rig drilling campaign deploying four drill rigs across its exploration portfolio in the Northern Territory.

Assay results for approximately 500 surface samples from the separate Jessops area remain outstanding.
