Pecoy Copper Corp. has expanded active drilling operations to four diamond rigs at its flagship Pecoy copper-gold-molybdenum-silver project in southern Peru, with a fifth rig scheduled to join the fleet as field activities continue to ramp up.

The ongoing work forms part of a fully funded 2026 exploration campaign budgeted for approximately 35,000 metres of diamond drilling across the property. Operations are directed at expanding known mineralization, testing high-priority exploration targets, and refining the geological team's understanding of the broader porphyry system.

The current active rig count marks a structural increase from earlier in the year, when Pecoy Copper operated three rigs at the site in May.

The project is situated approximately 1,650 metres above sea level in the Arequipa region, benefiting from established infrastructure, local power and water access, and connection to Pacific ports. The property covers approximately 19,800 hectares alongside the company's Tororume project.
