Pelangio Exploration Inc. has completed its 2026 resource extension drilling program at the Pokukrom deposits within the Manfo project in Ghana, returning final assay results including a broad intercept of 43 meters at 0.54 g/t gold from drill hole SPDD26-009.

The 12-hole program totaled 2,951.2 meters across the Pokukrom East and Pokukrom West deposits, successfully demonstrating extensions to the Pokukrom East deposit at both its northern end and down-dip near its shallower southern section. Final assays for the program's remaining five holes confirmed that mineralization remains open in both areas.

Drill hole SPDD26-009 was collared to test down-dip extensions near the southern end of Pokukrom East, returning 43 meters grading 0.54 g/t gold from 205 meters downhole, which included higher-grade intervals of 18 meters at 0.82 g/t gold and 8 meters at 0.80 g/t gold. Meanwhile, step-out hole SPDD26-010 and infill hole SPDD26-011 tested areas around earlier high-grade intercepts, defining the limits of the mineralization and helping structure plans for subsequent work.

In September 2025, Pelangio filed an updated mineral resource estimate for Manfo prepared by SEMS Technical Services, defining an indicated resource of 441,000 ounces of gold and an inferred resource of 396,000 ounces of gold.

To refine geological and structural modelling ahead of future resource updates, Pelangio has contracted a structural geologist to examine the Pokukrom East drill core for one week starting before the end of September 2026.

In the surrounding district, Asante Gold Corporation reported a consolidated Measured and Indicated mineral resource of 4.6 million ounces across the Bibiani and Chirano gold mines in August 2026.

Future work will involve targeted step-out and infill drilling at Pokukrom East, alongside resource expansion drilling at the Nkansu and Nfante West deposits when drilling resumes at the project.
