Perpetual Resources Starts 3D LiDAR Survey At Nevada Scheelite Project

Perpetual Resources Ltd has commenced a detailed underground 3D LiDAR survey at the historic Leonard Mine workings within the Nevada Scheelite Project in Mineral County, Nevada, to establish a modern georeferenced spatial framework.

The field capture is taking place during the week of 24 August 2026, with final processed 3D point cloud data expected approximately two weeks following completion of the survey. This spatial framework will allow historical drill collars, underground workings, and mine plans recorded across various local grids to be reconciled into a consistent 3D environment.

The work runs in parallel with the digitisation of Perpetual's extensive historical technical database for the brownfields tungsten asset, which is targeted for completion and integration within approximately four weeks. Perpetual Resources acquired a 100% interest in the Nevada Scheelite Mine via staged payments in June 2026, adding a brownfields tungsten asset with historical production of 328,747 short ton units of WO3 at an average grade of approximately 1.1% WO3.

To support the asset's development, the company appointed Washington D.C.-based strategic advisory firm GreenMet in August 2026 to advance U.S. government engagement and position the project within federal critical minerals initiatives and funding programs. Meanwhile, regional activity in the district includes Guardian Metal Resources plc's discovery of the tungsten-rich Tremor Zone at its Pilot Mountain project on 4 June 2026.

LiDAR is an important step in bringing Nevada Scheelite's extensive historical drilling, mine development and technical information into a modern 3D environment. Combined with the digitisation work already underway, it should give us a much clearer understanding of the relationship between the historical drilling, mineralisation and existing underground workings.

Nevada Scheelite benefits from decades of previous exploration and mining activity, and this work is about extracting maximum value from that head start. It will provide a stronger technical foundation for geological modelling, future exploration and the next stage of project evaluation.
