Perseus Mining has updated its resource and reserve estimates as of 30 June 2026, reporting group Measured and Indicated Mineral Resources of 10.6 million ounces of gold. This represents an increase of 2.9 million ounces, or 37%, compared to the previous inventory.

Proved and Probable Ore Reserves for the group rose to 7.0 million ounces of gold, marking a 2.0 million ounce, or 40%, increase against the 2025 position. The company reassessed growth opportunities across its portfolio to balance investment in growth with cash margin generation.

Open pit Mineral Resources were estimated using a long-term gold price assumption of US$3,300 per ounce, except for the Nyanzaga deposit in Tanzania, modelled at US$2,700 per ounce. The reporting inventory reflects adjustments including the sale of the Meyas Sand Gold Project in Sudan in March 2026, which resulted in the asset being removed.

At the project level, Nyanzaga contributed significantly, with Ore Reserves increasing by 1,767,000 ounces, or 75%, to reach 4,109,000 ounces. At the Edikan Gold Mine in Ghana, Measured and Indicated Mineral Resources increased by 834,000 ounces, or 54%, totaling 2,528,000 ounces as of 30 June 2026. Yaouré Ore Reserves in Côte d'Ivoire increased by 217,000 ounces, or 15%, driven by additions from the Yaouré pit, while Edikan and Sissingué maintained reserve life by replacing mining depletion.

“This is another year of strong growth in Perseus's Mineral Resource and Ore Reserve base. Growing our Measured and Indicated Mineral Resources by 37% to 10.6 million ounces, and our Proved and Probable Ore Reserves by 40% to 7.0 million ounces reflecting Perseus's ongoing value generation through extending the life of its mines through exploration and reflects the quality of the exploration and technical work done by our teams.”

“Nyanzaga is now firmly established as a cornerstone of the Perseus portfolio, contributing 4.1 million ounces of Ore Reserves and underpinning the next phase of the Company's production growth as we advance the project toward first gold.” — Craig Jones, Managing Director and CEO

First gold production at the Nyanzaga Gold Project is scheduled for January 2027.

Elsewhere within the surrounding district in Côte d'Ivoire, regional exploration has seen active results, including drill intercepts of 15.0 meters at 20.97 g/t gold reported by Montage Gold at its Didievi project in July 2026.
