The gold producer generated $1.484 billion in revenue during FY26, up 19% compared to FY25, while EBITDA rose 16% to $860.5 million. Net cash flow from operating activities reached $666.4 million, representing a 24% increase from the $536.7 million recorded in the prior financial year.
The company finished the period with $1.034 billion in cash and bullion, up from $826.5 million at 30 June 2025, supported by the disposal of its 70% interest in the Meyas Sand Gold Project in Sudan for $260 million in cash. Reflecting the stronger balance sheet, the board declared a final unfranked dividend of 9.0 Australian cents per share, bringing total declared dividends for FY26 to 14.0 A$ cents per share. This compares to total dividends of 5.0 A$ cents per share declared in FY25.
Perseus updated its capital management policy to establish a minimum annual dividend commitment of 20% of net operating cash flow after payments to non-controlling interests. In addition to the dividend update, the company approved a new on-market share buy-back program of up to A$350 million, scheduled to start on or about 24 September 2026. This follows the completion of A$126 million of its previous A$150 million buyback program during FY26. Management also intends to return an additional A$100 million to shareholders from excess proceeds generated by the Meyas Sand divestment, subject to Australian Tax Office confirmation and required shareholder approvals.

“FY26 was also a year of major project momentum with our Nyanzaga Gold Project in Tanzania on track for first gold pour in January 2027 and the achievement of first gold pour from the CMA underground in Côte d'Ivoire.”
