Perseverance Metals Discovers Nickel-Copper Intrusion at Voyageur
Perseverance Metals Inc. has discovered a near-surface, magmatic nickel and copper sulphide-bearing mafic-ultramafic intrusion at the Osprey target on the Voyageur project in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
Four diamond drill holes have tested the blind geophysical target, with three intersecting an intrusion documented at up to 50 metres thick. The body consists of three phases, including a basal, coarse-grained peridotite locally containing 3% to 8% magmatic sulphides as interstitial and chalcopyrite-pyrrohotite blebs and globules. Portable XRF analyses confirm the sulphides contain nickel and copper, with final laboratory assays, intrusion geochemistry and sulphide petrography currently pending.

The company commenced its inaugural diamond drill program at the property in June 2026, targeting Mid-Continent Rift-related magmatic sulphide mineralization across up to four priority targets. By September 2026, four holes had tested Osprey, and the drill rig has since moved to test Target 2. Land consolidation in December 2025 added 1,286 hectares through a lease with Keweenaw Land Association Ltd., bringing Perseverance holdings in the region to over 690 square kilometres.

Technical teams are completing ground geophysical surveys, borehole EM surveys, geochemistry and petrography to guide further drilling at Osprey alongside the ongoing work at Target 2.
