Pilbara Gold Hits 10m at 4.02g/t Gold at Mt York As Drilling Reaches 50% Completion

Pilbara Gold Limited has intersected wide, high-grade gold zones at the Mt York Project in Western Australia, with its active drilling campaign now 50% complete.
Recent assays from the Main Hill and Main Hill Extension prospects returned notable intercepts, including drillhole 26MYRCD004, which intersected 10 metres at 4.02 grams per tonne gold from 262 metres, including 7 metres at 5.54 grams per tonne. Additional results at Main Hill included 12 metres at 3.63 grams per tonne gold from 295 metres, including 5 metres at 7.69 grams per tonne in hole 26MYRCD001, and 25 metres at 1.21 grams per tonne gold from 320 metres, including 8 metres at 3.1 grams per tonne in hole 26MYDD031.
At the Main Hill Extension prospect, hole 26MYDD024A returned 22 metres at 2.04 grams per tonne gold from 122 metres, including 3 metres at 3.98 grams per tonne and 5 metres at 4.06 grams per tonne. Drilling at Gossan Hill yielded 5 metres at 4.08 grams per tonne gold from 136 metres in hole 26MYDD001.
The company has completed 28,635 metres of its broader drilling program across the deposit. The exploration work is testing extensions of the gold mineralisation at depth below previous drilling, where the host Banded Iron Formation remains open. The Mt York Project hosts gold mineralisation across a continuous 4.2-kilometre-long Banded Iron Formation, building on a resource that was previously expanded by approximately 700,000 ounces following 27,000 metres of drilling.
Pilbara Gold has five drill rigs currently operating on site and expects a sixth rig to arrive in September 2026.
“With 2026 drilling now 50% complete at Mt York, we are on track to deliver a new Mineral Resource Estimate in early 2027 and a PFS mid-way through 2027.”
“The drilling program has been increased to 60,000m due to the tenor of results to date and wide zones of sulphidic Banded Iron Formation (BIF) we are seeing in and around the 'Monster Zone' beneath Main Hill and its Extension to the NW."
— Dr Peter Turner, Managing Director
Pilbara Gold expects to deliver an updated Mineral Resource Estimate for the Mt York Project in early 2027, followed by a Pre-Feasibility Study mid-way through 2027.
