Pilbara Gold Hits 46m at 3.17g/t Gold at Roe Hills

Pilbara Gold Limited has intersected high-grade gold mineralization at the Terra Prospect within its Roe Hills Gold Project, located 100 kilometres east of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia.
First results from the 2026 drilling program delivered standout assays from the bedrock gold corridor, including hole 26RHRC001 returning 46 metres at 3.17 grams per tonne gold from 92 metres, which included an 18-metre interval grading 4.36 grams per tonne from 110 metres. This hole was drilled 100 metres south of a historic intersection that returned 35 metres at 1.00 gram per tonne gold.
Other notable intercepts from the active campaign include hole 26RHRC006, which intersected 4 metres at 9.91 grams per tonne gold from 144 metres, including a 1-metre subsection grading 33.62 grams per tonne from 145 metres. Hole 26RHRC011 returned 7 metres at 4.14 grams per tonne gold from 81 metres, including 3 metres at 6.38 grams per tonne.
“These are tremendous initial results to begin our campaign at Roe Hills. We expect the project to develop in terms of scale as we drill more of the bedrock gold corridor.”
— Dr Peter Turner, Managing Director
The current campaign marks the end of an eight-year exploration hiatus at the site. The mineralization is hosted in quartz-carbonate veining within a shear zone in basaltic and ultramafic rocks, accompanied by pyrite-sericite alteration. The gold system extends over at least 1,500 metres in bedrock and remains open to the north, south, and at depth.
The company has completed approximately 5,700 metres of a proposed 12,000-metre reverse circulation drilling program, leaving 6,300 metres remaining across the Terra and Caliburn prospects. Transported cover and challenging ground conditions prevented several holes, including 26RHRC002, 26RHRC008, and 26RHRC003, from reaching their target depths. These holes will be redrilled as a priority using diamond drilling rigs.
“PGL understands the value-proposition of gold resources close to processing mills in the Kalgoorlie area and subject to continued positive drill results at Roe Hills, the Company will accelerate and expand its drilling program at Roe Hills whilst continuing resource-growth drilling at Mt York, targeting completion of its PFS by mid-2027.”
— Dr Peter Turner, Managing Director
The exploration work is designed to test between wide-spaced historic drill fences completed by the company in 2017 and 2018, with the ultimate objective of supporting a maiden mineral resource estimation for the project.
