Platina Resources Limited has returned a standout intercept of 29 metres at 3.38 grams per tonne gold from 11 metres down-hole, including 11 metres at 8.62 grams per tonne, from maiden reverse circulation drilling at the Sunrise Bore Gold Project near Laverton in Western Australia.

The 2,863-metre, 23-hole program represents the first modern drilling completed at Sunrise Bore in 28 years. The campaign was designed to validate historical mineralisation and establish a contemporary geological framework across the tenure.

Assays from all 23 holes have defined a mineralised structure more than 80 metres wide. Gold was intersected close to surface and remains open along strike and down-dip. The current program tested approximately 200 metres of a broader 1.2-kilometre mineralised trend, leaving substantial strike length available for follow-up testing.

Platina completed the acquisition of the Sunrise Bore Project in June 2026 by paying $350,000 in cash, issuing 40,625,307 shares valued at $800,000, and granting a 1% Net Smelter Return royalty. The asset forms part of the company's broader Laverton portfolio alongside Mt McKenna and Mt Morgans South.

Activity across the surrounding district includes gold exploration results reported by Great Southern Mining Limited at its Mon Ami project, which featured an intercept of 16 metres at 3.37 grams per tonne gold from 178 metres.

Platina will integrate the new drilling, geological and assay information with historical datasets to update its geological model, define structural controls on higher-grade zones, and prioritise targets for follow-up drilling across the remaining portion of the 1.2km mineralised trend.
