PMET Collects More Than 2.5 Tonnes Of Pollucite Pegmatite At CV13 Vega Zone

PMET Resources Inc. has collected more than 2.5 tonnes of pollucite pegmatite to date from outcrop at the Vega Zone, designated as CV13, within the Shaakichiuwaanaan Property in Quebec.
The sampling program utilizes very large diameter drill core measuring approximately 30 cm from a grid of shallow holes across the mineralized outcrop. Previous surface work at the CV13 prospect identified multiple pegmatite outcrops situated across contiguous trends southwest of the main CV5 pegmatite corridor.
Visual estimates of mineral abundance in the collected material range from approximately 15% up to more than 90% pollucite, presenting as massive crystals with common spodumene, pollucite, and lepidolite veining. The company notes that visual estimates of mineral abundance are not a proxy or substitute for laboratory analyses where concentrations or grades are the factor of principal economic interest.
The primary objective of the program is to produce between 500 kg and 1,000 kg of pollucite concentrate to support ongoing development testwork for concentrate production and downstream caesium chemical testwork. The larger sample fragment size, reaching upwards of 30 cm, is required for future feasibility-level data and allows for a more accurate assessment of recovery behavior during a mining operation by approximating blasted run-of-mine material after crushing.
The collected core samples will be composited and submitted for ore sorting testwork and geochemical analysis, which PMET Resources Inc. anticipates commencing in the fourth quarter of 2026. Final grades of the composites will be announced alongside the ore sorting test program results, which are expected to be received and reported in the first half of 2027.
