Power One Resources Corp. has received the exploration permit required to advance diamond drilling at its Pecors Project, located approximately 14 kilometres east of Elliot Lake, Ontario.

The permit authorizes mechanized diamond drilling from two approved pad locations. The company's immediate objective is to complete a single vertical diamond drill hole of approximately 1,500 metres to test the deep-seated Zd1 geophysical target.

The 100%-owned property hosts a large regional magnetic high measuring approximately 12 kilometres long by 4 kilometres wide. The company's 2023–2024 exploration program resulted in the first reported discovery of gold mineralization at Pecors, returning 1.025 g/t gold over 1.5 metres in hole P02401.

By comparison, the company's inaugural 2024 drill program totaled 1,300 metres across three holes, whereas the current program plans a single vertical diamond drill hole of approximately 1,500 metres to test the Zd1 target.
