PPX Mining Corp. reported initial results from its 2026 underground drilling at the Callanquitas Mine, highlighted by hole CA-26-33 intersecting 3.60 metres grading 8.66 g/t gold, 289.6 g/t silver, and 0.10% copper. The interval includes 0.85 metres grading 20.04 g/t gold, 240.0 g/t silver, and 0.27% copper.

The Callanquitas Mine is part of the 100%-owned Igor Project in northern Peru. The operation generated cumulative Net Profit Interest of PEN 50.56 million in the first five months of 2026.

The current campaign aims to extend the Callanquitas East zone and Tension vein. Hole CA-26-31 intersected three mineralized zones, including the Tension vein yielding 1.60 metres at 3.37 g/t gold, 1,329.6 g/t silver, and 1.81% copper, containing a 0.90-metre subsection grading 5.84 g/t gold, 2,251.0 g/t silver, and 3.01% copper. Hole CA-26-31 also cut a new oxide zone grading 5.28 g/t gold over 1.50 metres, and Callanquitas East grading 4.31 g/t gold over 0.60 metres.

Drill hole CA-26-32 encountered the Tension vein within a 16.75-metre interval averaging 1.21 g/t gold, 101.6 g/t silver, and 0.14% copper, including 0.80 metres grading 6.92 g/t gold, 654.0 g/t silver, and 1.69% copper. It also intersected Callanquitas East, returning 2.88 g/t gold over 1.00 metre.

“These results confirm high Au and Ag grades in the Tension vein in sulfide and its geological continuity, along with significant Cu. At Callanquitas East, there is a slight decrease in Au grade, but the oxide-bearing breccia persists at the 2850-metre elevation. The results from these three drill holes justify continued exploration, as the mineralization remains open to the North and at depth in both the Tension vein and Callanquitas East. This information will assist in updating the sulfide and oxide resource estimates.” — Ernest Mast, CEO of PPX Mining Corp.

Assay results for the final 74 metres of drill hole CA-26-33 remain pending. PPX Mining plans to use the data to update resource estimates and is advancing exploration across the wider Igor district.
