Precore Completes Magnetic Survey At Arikepay

Precore Gold Corp. has completed a drone-based magnetic survey across 579 hectares at its Arikepay gold-copper project in southern Peru, covering 128.13 kilometers across 51 survey lines at 50-meter spacing alongside six control lines.
The high-resolution geophysical campaign is designed to map buried structures, intrusive bodies, and alteration patterns beneath shallow alluvial cover at the project. Precore Gold acquired the option to secure up to a 100% interest in the 1,800-hectare Arikepay property through a definitive option agreement signed in April 2025.
To expand the dataset, the company has incorporated historical helicopter magnetic survey data collected over a 9-kilometer by 10-kilometer area in May 2012 by Geophysics One. Precore Gold will reanalyze and combine the legacy dataset with the new drone-based measurements to refine geological interpretations across its concessions.
The exploration work is funded by the proceeds of an oversubscribed private placement that closed on September 3, 2026, raising gross proceeds of C$6 million.
“The launch of this airmag survey is an exciting moment for the Arikepay Project because it allows us to look beyond individual historical drill holes and begin seeing Arikepay as a continual mineral system. Put simply, the survey should help show us where the important structures continue beneath the surface—and where the next compelling drill targets may be hiding. This is the first exciting step in rebuilding the geological story of Arikepay from the ground up. Every new layer of data is intended to sharpen our understanding and improve the quality of the drill targets we ultimately test.” — Paul A. Dumas, Executive Chairman
Preliminary results from the survey have already been received by the technical team. Precore Gold plans to conduct further pre-drilling exploration to finalize specific targets ahead of an inaugural drill campaign at the property. The company expects to share the final interpretation and a project update with the market over the coming weeks.
Elsewhere in southern Peru's active mining corridor, activity has advanced across neighboring holdings, including where DLP Resources secured permits for its maiden diamond drill program at the Esperanza copper-gold-molybdenum project.
