Prospect Resources has intersected 65.8 metres at 0.42% copper from 226 metres, including 17.0 metres at 0.58% copper from 239 metres and 13.2 metres at 0.82% copper from 278 metres, in step-out drilling at the Mumbezhi Copper Project in north-west Zambia.

The results come from diamond drill hole NCDD028 at the flagship Nyungu Central deposit. A second extensional hole, NCDD025, intersected 29.6 metres at 0.34% copper from 237 metres, including 5.2 metres at 0.80% copper from 245 metres. The new intercepts lie outside and at the edges of the current Mineral Resource estimate boundary, defining a new mineralised zone to the southeast.

Prospect Resources holds a 90 percent interest in the Mumbezhi project. The ongoing Phase 3 drilling programme follows completed Phase 1 and Phase 2 drilling campaigns conducted at the project since 2024.

Sixteen Phase 3 diamond drill holes have been completed at the southern end of Nyungu Central to date for 4,723 metres. Priority assays are currently pending for seven of these holes, forming part of a wider pipeline of 12 pending assay results from the Nyungu Central Phase 3 programme.

An infill diamond drilling programme of 6,200 metres commenced at Nyungu Central in late July with an additional drill rig on site. Four diamond drill rigs are now operating across Mumbezhi, with three stationed at Nyungu Central and one at the regional Sharamba prospect.

Maiden exploratory diamond drilling at Sharamba has completed six holes for 1,608 metres, targeting shallow copper mineralisation associated with an airborne electromagnetic anomaly over 700 metres of strike. Visual copper mineralisation in ore schist has been observed in five completed holes at the prospect. The company plans to sample and assay these five diamond drill holes from the Sharamba maiden exploratory program in due course.
