Prospectiva Resources Ltd. has completed its qualifying transaction with Pentagon I Capital Corp. and commenced trading on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol "PSVA", opening public market access to fund its Brazilian mineral portfolio.

The company is advancing its 100%-owned São Francisco Copper-Gold Project in Brazil’s Borborema Belt. The project was acquired by Prospectiva in early 2026, having originally been discovered as a grassroots prospect by Yamana Gold Inc. in 2019. Previously completed exploration work by Yamana includes approximately 5,900 metres of diamond drilling and a 29 line-kilometre induced polarization survey, which was left without follow-up after Yamana's corporate acquisition.

A fully funded drill programme is underway at São Francisco to test newly identified electromagnetic conductors along a 3-kilometre prospective geological and geophysical trend. The campaign is designed to expand historical high-grade, near-surface copper-gold mineralisation. Past drilling by Yamana returned notable high-grade intercepts, including 7.50 metres grading 6.41% copper and 0.36 g/t gold, 4.55 metres at 5.81% copper and 0.48 g/t gold, and 7.53 metres at 3.83% copper and 0.36 g/t gold. Prospectiva has set an objective to define a maiden Mineral Resource for the project in 2027.

Beyond its primary copper-gold focus, Prospectiva holds the Pico do Jabre and Desterro gold projects in the state of Paraíba. These regional assets are located approximately 30 kilometres northeast of São Francisco within the company’s wider 335 square-kilometre land package. First-pass geological reconnaissance at Pico do Jabre and Desterro confirmed structurally controlled quartz-vein gold systems, with reconnaissance sampling returning gold grades reaching up to 9.72 g/t.

Commenting on the milestone, Chief Executive Officer Dan James said, “With a fully funded maiden drill programme about to commence at our flagship São Francisco Copper-Gold Project, an experienced technical team and a portfolio with significant district-scale growth potential, we are well positioned to advance our exploration strategy and build long-term shareholder value.”
