Providence Gold Mines Inc. has returned continuous trenching assays from its second stockpile sampling program at the Tarantula mine, part of the La Dama de Oro gold property near Victorville, California.

The program, overseen by geologist Mark Payne under independent qualified person Dr. Lee Groat, focused on surface stockpiles at the historical gold producer. Highlights from the 4,188-foot elevation north trench included 8.1 grams per tonne gold over 5 feet and 8.9 grams per tonne gold over 5 feet from 5.0 to 10.0 feet. Additional results from the north trench returned 2.4 grams per tonne gold over 5 feet and 1.1 grams per tonne gold over 4 feet. The south trench yielded 0.9 grams per tonne gold over 4 feet, 2.9 grams per tonne gold over 4 feet, and 1.6 grams per tonne gold over 4 feet. A parallel trench 5 feet north returned 3.9 grams per tonne gold over 5 feet and 6.2 grams per tonne gold over 5 feet, with true widths and depths remaining unknown.

To better understand gold distribution, material greater than three-quarters of an inch was extracted from a 55-kilogram sample. Testing the remaining 33 kilograms upgraded the sample from 8 grams to 14 grams of gold per ton.

Providence holds a fully permitted up to 1,000-ton bulk sample. In December 2025, the company entered an underground mining lease agreement with Easy Mining Company Ltd. to extract the sample, and is currently negotiating with a local mill owner-operator for processing.

Surface exploration targeting continues at the Western Mojave Girl vein, where previous channel sampling returned 8 grams of gold per ton over a true width of 0.45 metres from a sericitic alteration zone traceable for approximately 300 feet.

“Given the permitted 1,000-ton bulk sample, and what with gold at record levels, (current gold price is $143.08 per gram USD), the leverage from a micro-cap base such as Providence Gold Mines Inc. is unique; due to its high-grade potential and fully permitted status for near term bulk sample production”

Future work plans include trenching the discovery vein, blending discovery material with stockpiles, conducting geophysical surveys, and drilling 400-to-600-foot core holes to test the Western Mojave Girl vein target.
