Green Canada Uranium Sets September 9 Trading Debut Following Marshall Project Acquisition

PTX Metals Inc. has completed the transaction creating Green Canada Uranium Corp., which has acquired a 100 per cent interest in the Marshall uranium project in Saskatchewan's Athabasca Basin, with trading on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol "GCUC" slated to begin on or around September 9, 2026.
Drilling across the Marshall project is expected to commence in September. The transaction stems from agreements initially announced by Green Canada Corporation and MAACKK Capital Corp. to acquire the Saskatchewan uranium portfolio from Basin Energy Limited.
For PTX Metals, the completion of the transaction cuts subsidiary overhead and allows the company to direct its financial and operational resources toward its core Northern Ontario portfolio, anchored by the W2 Copper-Nickel-PGE Project and South Timmins gold assets, while retaining direct equity exposure in the new uranium vehicle. PTX will also evaluate tax-efficient opportunities regarding its GCUC shareholding, subject to applicable regulatory and tax considerations.
“We are pleased to see Green Canada Uranium reach this important milestone,” said Greg Ferron, President and CEO of PTX Metals. “As a separately listed uranium company, PTX is retaining significant exposure to its future success for our shareholders. At the same time, the transaction reduces costs at PTX and allows our team to remain focused on advancing our core Ontario assets.”
PTX Metals is a mineral exploration company advancing gold and critical minerals projects in Northern Ontario, including its flagship W2 copper-nickel-PGE project near the gateway to the Ring of Fire.
