PTX Metals Inc. has appointed Michael Pesner to its Board of Directors as Chair of the Audit Committee, alongside a series of operational and technical appointments designed to support the company's exploration portfolio.

Pesner brings four decades of experience in corporate governance, financial oversight, and capital markets, including previous board and audit committee roles at Richmont Mines, Wallbridge Mining, and Superior Gold, and a former partnership at KPMG Canada. He succeeds Jim Trusler on the board, with Trusler transitioning to serve on the W2 and South Timmins Technical Advisory Committees.

In addition to the board changes, PTX appointed Kevin Wells as Director of Operations. Wells brings more than 35 years of exploration experience with major mining companies including Anglo American, Anglo Platinum, and Falconbridge. The company also expanded its Technical Advisory Committees, adding Jim Atkinson to the W2 committee and Charles Tarnocai to the South Timmins committee.

Following the leadership updates, PTX granted 3,800,000 incentive stock options, consisting of 2,900,000 options exercisable at $0.10 per share for five years and 900,000 consultant options exercisable at $0.11 per share for three years, subject to regulatory approval.

“We're continuing to build the leadership team needed for PTX's next phase of growth,” said Greg Ferron, President and CEO. “Michael brings exceptional governance and financial experience that will strengthen our Board as we continue advancing our projects and evaluating future opportunities. At the same time, we've expanded our technical leadership with highly experienced exploration professionals whose expertise directly support our critical minerals and gold portfolios.”

These leadership appointments support the ongoing advancement of the flagship W2 Copper-Nickel-PGE Project and the South Timmins gold assets in Northern Ontario. As a next step in metallurgical testing at the W2 project, the company plans to conduct locked cycle testing.

Meanwhile, the stock is currently trading flat at $0.095 on August 10, 2026.
