PTX Metals Inc. has recommenced a 5,000-metre diamond drilling program at its flagship W2 Copper-Nickel-PGE Project in northwestern Ontario, focusing primarily on the CA1 Zone after a temporary pause for First Nations engagement.

PTX previously launched the 5,000-metre diamond drilling program at W2 in December 2025 before pausing operations in January 2026. Alongside the resumed drilling, concurrent soil sampling and prospecting programs are underway across the property to refine existing targets and identify additional prospects.

The current exploration work is supported by a recently extended exploration permit. PTX noted that First Nation businesses and community members continue to participate directly in field programs, providing local procurement, employment, and community support.

“W2 is moving forward, both in the field and through the relationships we have worked hard to build,” said Greg Ferron, President and CEO of PTX Metals. “Our next phase of exploration activities is an important step as we continue advancing one of the most strategically located copper-nickel-PGE projects at the gateway to the Ring of Fire. Importantly, we are doing that work with communities in the region and we are grateful for their involvement in all of our past six exploration programs in the field.”

Field activities remain focused on advancing priority targets across the property's central area.
