Purecore Metals Inc. has commenced a comprehensive data compilation and technical review program at the Yurchison Uranium Property in the Athabasca Basin of northern Saskatchewan.

The 35,029-hectare property consists of 22 claims situated approximately 75 kilometres south of Cameco Corporation’s Rabbit Lake operation, with Highway 905 crossing the claim block. Purecore holds an option to earn up to a 100% interest in the project pursuant to a definitive agreement with Skyharbour Resources Ltd.

The technical program is designed to consolidate historical and modern geological, geochemical, geophysical, and exploration data into an integrated project database and geological framework. The resulting dataset will be used to refine areas of interest, assess structural and geological controls on uranium mineralization, and prioritize targets for future fieldwork.

Elsewhere in the Athabasca Basin, CanAlaska Uranium intersected 5.4 metres grading 1.48% U3O8, including a 0.4-metre interval grading 10.5% U3O8, at its West McArthur project.
