Pursuit Minerals Limited has secured key environmental approvals from the Secretaría de Minería in the Province of Salta, Argentina, allowing the company to proceed with the relocation of its pilot plant and advance exploration drilling at the Rio Grande Sur lithium project.

The approvals authorize the physical relocation of Pursuit's pilot plant infrastructure to the Sal Río II property. The approved layout encompasses eight 100-metre by 100-metre pilot ponds across a roughly 10-hectare development area, an 812-square-metre equipment storage facility, and the transport of 76 items of equipment and components from Salta Capital.

Pursuit previously commissioned a 250 tpa lithium carbonate pilot plant in Salta, which produced its first lithium carbonate in April 2025.

In parallel with the pilot plant relocation, Pursuit has submitted its environmental approval application for the construction of a commercial-scale evaporation pond system to support a planned 5,000 tpa operation at Rio Grande Sur. The Secretaría de Minería is currently assessing the application.

The company has separately received an Environmental Impact Declaration for advanced lithium exploration over the Río Grande I and Demasía mining properties. The resolution authorizes the drilling of a 500-metre diamond drill hole and the construction of an associated drill pad.

The approval clears the way for Pursuit to commence DDH-4 at the Demasía property following the completion of DDH-3 at Mito, which has finished after drilling and packer testing to approximately 560 metres.
