Rackla Metals Inc. has added a second drill rig to its Lentung tungsten project in the Northwest Territories, expanding operations to a dual-rig fleet for the 2026 exploration season.

The newly arrived reverse circulation rig has started a planned 6,000-metre program, complementing a diamond drilling campaign already underway. Together, the two systems are expected to complete approximately 10,000 metres of drilling this season.

The reverse circulation rig is initially focusing on infill and expansion drilling inside the project’s Central Zone, targeting near-surface mineralisation generally less than 70 metres deep. The Central Zone contains the bulk of historical work completed by Union Carbide between 1977 and 1982, which includes 26,900 metres of drilling across 178 holes. Rackla acquired 100% ownership of the 19,600-hectare property through claim staking in late 2025.

Rackla has completed five diamond drill holes in the Central Zone to date. The first batch of drill samples is scheduled for laboratory shipment this week, with visual checks using shortwave ultraviolet light indicating scheelite mineralization across all completed holes.

Data from the current 2026 program and historical Union Carbide records will feed into a geological model designed to support a modern mineral resource estimate in the first quarter of 2027.

Ground-based gravity and drone magnetic surveys covering the Central Zone, Far West Zone and CAC Valley have been completed, with processing and 3D inversion modelling underway to refine drill targets.
