Recharge Metals Completes Sunset Well Heritage Survey Ahead of Maiden Drill Program

Recharge Metals Limited has completed the Sunset Well Heritage Survey at its gold project in Western Australia following a five-day program conducted alongside representatives of the Darlot People.
The survey clearance covers the Prospero Trend and the Flanders Prospect, clearing the way for the company’s planned 30,000-metre maiden drilling program. The upcoming campaign will target the Prospero Deposit, which hosts an Inferred Mineral Resource of 2.87 million tonnes grading 1.0 grams per tonne gold for 94,500 ounces from surface.
Recharge executed a Heritage Protection Agreement with the Darlot Traditional Owners in June 2026 to establish engagement protocols for the project. In July, the company expanded its footprint by acquiring the adjacent Ironstone Well Project for $100,000 cash, increasing the strike length of the Prospero Gold Trend by 50% to over 15 kilometres.
“The successful completion of the survey marks an important step towards our planned 30,000m maiden drill program. Critically it will also ensure that exploration is undertaken in a manner that protects both cultural heritage and important environmental values held by the Darlot People. Following the survey, we anticipate commencing our maiden 30,000m drilling program in early Q4. This will target the 94,500oz Prospero Deposit and the broader 15km Prospero Trend, marking the first drilling here in nearly three decades.”
— Luke Timmermans, Chief Executive Officer
The maiden program will represent the first exploration drilling at the Prospero Deposit since the mid-1990s. The deposit remains open along strike and at depth, with only three historical holes drilled deeper than 100 metres vertical depth.
Recharge holds approximately $5.6 million in cash to fund the upcoming exploration activities. Drilling is scheduled to get underway in early Q4, pending receipt of the final Heritage Survey Report.
