Red Canyon Resources Ltd. (REDC) has completed an initial phase of diamond drilling at its Inzana (Osiris and Acheron) project in central British Columbia. The company drilled eight holes totalling 2,079 metres at the Camp target area, aiming to define an alkalic copper-gold mineral system. Preliminary geological observations suggest the site shares structural and mineralogical characteristics with established regional porphyry systems. The company expects to receive assay results from this initial program within four to six weeks of the July 30 announcement.

Beyond the completed drilling, the company has utilized induced polarization (IP) geophysical surveys to refine its understanding of the subsurface environment at the project. This work has successfully identified several new high-priority targets, notably Nautilus and EV, which remain untested by the drill bit. Nautilus is described as a large complex magnetic feature, while EV exhibits strong electromagnetic signatures that the technical team believes could potentially indicate massive sulphide mineralization. In tandem with these technical findings, the company expanded its footprint at the project by staking three additional mineral claims between June 10 and July 16, 2026.

Operational activities at the site are set to intensify throughout the late summer. The company has scheduled a first-pass rotary/auger drilling program to commence in mid-August, which is intended to provide more definitive geochemical data across identified priority zones. This effort will be complemented by additional soil and till geochemistry surveys. Improved site access, facilitated by recent forestry road construction and harvesting activities, is expected to assist with the execution of these programs. The team anticipates that this enhanced accessibility will be particularly beneficial for exploring the Nautilus target areas, with field work preparation now underway for late August.

The geological interpretation of the Camp zone, as highlighted by the drilling to date, indicates the presence of a magnetite-rich pyroxenite intrusive complex. Researchers observed various alteration assemblages in the drill core, including propylitic, phyllic, and calc-potassic types, which align with standard alkalic porphyry models. While the initial drilling did not intersect specific zones of biotite or potassium-feldspar dominant potassic alteration, the team notes that the system remains open for exploration. By continuing to integrate the new geophysical data with geochemical sampling and further exploratory drilling, the company plans to systematically evaluate the full 2.75-kilometre trend of the Camp mineral system and the newly defined targets in the surrounding project area. These upcoming work streams represent a focused push to unlock the potential of the project as the 2026 field season progresses in the coming weeks.
