Red Hill Minerals Delivers $20.1m Profit And Declares Final Dividend
Red Hill Minerals Limited reported a net profit after tax of $20.1 million for the 2026 financial year, more than doubling the $9.1 million profit recorded in the previous corresponding period.
The financial performance was underpinned by $28.8 million in royalty income generated from the Onslow Iron Project following the achievement of nameplate capacity. Total income for FY26 reached $31.56 million, supported by basic earnings of 31.27 cents per share.
The company closed the financial year on 30 June 2026 with a net cash position of $62.77 million. Alongside the annual results, the board declared a final fully franked dividend of 10.8 cents per ordinary share. The payment date is scheduled for 30 September 2026, with an ex-dividend date of 15 September and a record date of 16 September.
During the reporting period, exploration activity expanded into new regions alongside ongoing work at the West Pilbara Project.
"The achievement of nameplate capacity at the Onslow Iron Project generated $28.8 million in royalty income for FY26. The 22.4 cents per share of dividends for FY26 reflects our policy of paying 50% the $28.8 million of royalty income during the reporting period. With $62.77 million in cash at year end and ongoing royalty income, Red Hill is well positioned to continue to pay dividends, to fund its exploration programs and to pursue further royalty acquisitions. During the year we carried out our first drill programs on the exciting Curnamona Project which straddles the SA-NSW border and continued our efforts on our West Pilbara Project. I thank our team for its efforts and our shareholders for their continued support."
— Joshua Pitt, Executive Chairman
Executive Chairman Joshua Pitt highlighted that the company's dividend policy reflects a commitment to returning 50% of royalty income to shareholders while maintaining a robust cash balance to support ongoing exploration and potential future acquisitions.
