Red Mountain Mining Identifies New Antimony Target Ahead of Drilling

Red Mountain Mining (RMX) has identified a significant chargeability anomaly at the Oaky Creek South prospect, part of its flagship Armidale Antimony-Gold Project in New South Wales. Recent 2D and 3D modelling of dipole-dipole induced polarisation data revealed a coherent chargeability zone extending over 400 metres in strike length, with a vertical reach exceeding 100 metres.

The detected anomaly exhibits a peak chargeability of 7.2 mV/V, substantially higher than the typical background range of 2 to 3 mV/V. This subsurface signature aligns with known quartz-carbonate-stibnite veins and historical workings at the site, suggesting that mineralisation persists beneath the surface and remains open to the southwest. The data reinforces the interpretation of a large-scale orogenic vein system within the project area.

This finding serves as a critical precursor to the company's upcoming exploration milestone. A maiden reverse circulation drilling program is scheduled to commence the week of 20 July 2026. The campaign will involve up to 32 drill holes, reaching depths of 300 metres, specifically designed to test the priority targets defined by the recent geophysical modelling and extensive surface geochemical sampling.

Operational plans allow for flexibility, enabling the team to adjust drill hole locations to target depth or strike extensions based on preliminary intercepts. The company expects to complete the drilling program in August, with assay results anticipated during the current quarter. As the flagship asset in its broader portfolio, this work represents a major step in advancing the Armidale project.
