Redcastle Intersects 2m At 37.52 g/t Au In Grade Control Drilling
Redcastle Resources has returned high-grade gold intercepts from grade-control drilling at the Queen Alexandra deposit within the Redcastle Gold Project in Western Australia’s Eastern Goldfields, highlighted by hole BMRC476 delivering 2 metres at 37.52 g/t Au from 37 metres, including 1 metre at 67.70 g/t Au.
The assay batch comprises 127 reverse circulation grade-control holes for 4,449 metres. Across this program, 68% of holes returned gold intercepts averaging 2.0 g/t Au or greater. Standout downhole intercepts include BMRC559 with 5 metres at 12.47 g/t Au from 27 metres, including 1 metre at 46.90 g/t Au, and BMRC519 yielding 6 metres at 8.21 g/t Au from 28 metres, including 1 metre at 36.60 g/t Au. BMRC535 returned 4 metres at 9.72 g/t Au from 40 metres, including 1 metre at 25.10 g/t Au, while BMRC678A intercepted 4 metres at 7.00 g/t Au from 24 metres, including 1 metre at 23.00 g/t Au. All reported intercepts are downhole lengths, true widths have not yet been determined, and gold grades are uncut.
Combined with an initial batch, the Queen Alexandra grade-control dataset totals 265 holes for 8,834 metres, with 58% returning at least one significant gold intercept averaging 2.0 g/t Au or greater. The close-spaced data continues to support the geological interpretation applied in the 2025 Mineral Resource Estimate, confirming shallow, structurally controlled and locally stacked gold lodes.
The project is developed through the Redcastle-BML Ventures Joint Venture with BML Ventures. The planned expansion of the Queen Alexandra open pit extends south into Mining Lease M39/1171, granted by the Western Australian Department of Mines, Petroleum and Exploration effective 1 September 2026, which removes previous boundary constraints.
“These results further strengthen our confidence in Queen Alexandra, with higher-grade mineralisation extending to the south towards the recently granted M39/1171. The drilling statistics to date show a similarly strong incidence of significant gold intercepts at Queen Alexandra and Redcastle Reef, reinforcing the importance of both deposits within our broader development strategy. The grant of M39/1171 now provides the Joint Venture with additional flexibility to assess further grade-control drilling and expansion of the Queen Alexandra pit, subject to the necessary approvals and the recommencement of field operations.”
— Dr Ray Shaw, Chairman
Next steps for the joint venture include submitting an amended Mining Development and Closure Proposal for the pit expansion and evaluating further grade-control drilling upon the recommencement of field operations.
